In view of the disruptions caused by rains, NTA has announced that the examination has been postponed for these three days in the state and will now be held at a later date.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will begin the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2022 Exam Phase 2 today. However, the CUET 2022 Exam scheduled to be held on August 4,5 and 6 has been postponed in Kerala amid the heavy rains. In view of the disruptions caused by rains, NTA has announced that the examination has been postponed for these three days in the state and will now be held at a later date. The CUET exam 2022 in other centers in the country will be conducted as per the schedule.
In an official notice released by the agency, NTA stated that it will be difficult for students to travel to examination centres due to heavy downpour and flooded streets. Also, rains might cause disruption of power and hence disruption of the examination. The decision was taken to ensure that students face no problems while appearing for the examination.
In the notice, NTA writes, “to support the student community, it has been decided to postpone the CUET (UG) – 2022 for the candidates who will be appearing in cities of Kerala State for 4, 5 and 6 August 2022.”
NTA will announce the new dates for the postponed examinations soon on its official website and CUET official website in due course of time. Also, the schedule for CUET scheduled after August 6, 2022 has not been revised at this date. All those students who have registered for the examination are advised to keep a check on the official website for all the latest updates on the examination dates and schedule. The notices will be made available on nta.ac.in and cuet.samarth.ac.in.
