CUET UG 2022 Phase 2: NTA Postpones Exam at 53 Centres Citing Technical Malfunction

NTA has cancelled the CUET UG 2022 Phase 2 test dated August 6 due to technical issues. Prior to that, the test was also cancelled or postponed at several centres on August 4 and August 5. Know the details here.

CUET UG 2022 Phase 2 second and third days were also cancelled at multiple centres owing to major technical disruptions. On August 5, NTA announced that the exam was cancelled in 10 states across India. On August 6, as many as 53 centres across 18 cities have got cancelled. Unlike the first two days, candidates were informed well in advance through SMS and email.

NTA has stated, “Due to administrative/logistics/technical reasons, the CUET (UG) – 2022 examination scheduled for 06 August 2022 at 53 centres has been postponed to be held between 12 August to 14 August for the affected candidates.”

NTA has also mentioned that the same CUET UG 2022 admit card will be valid for the test that would be conducted between August 12 and August 14. In case candidates do not find the dates August 12 to August 14 suitable, they have to send email at datechange@nta.ac.in mentioning their desired date and CUET UG 2022 roll number.

Earlier, NTA had informed, “Examination scheduled for first shift on 5th August 2022 has been postponed at 20 examination centres. Examination scheduled for second shift on 5th August 2022 is postponed at 30 centres.”

On the first day of CUET UG 2022 Phase 2, the exam was cancelled at 17 cities across India. The problem lay in Central Server as the questions were not loaded on the screen, especially for the General Test. Also, there were mismatches in terms of the medium or language of questions and the subjects selected.
