With the centenary chance examination, all those students who had drop-out from their courses in their final year will be allowed to appear for the exams and complete their degrees.

The online application portal for the centenary chance examination at the varsity was closed on July 15, 2022. DS Rawat, Dean of Examination said, "We received a total of 13,671 registrations for the centenary chance examination out of which 8,560 applicants completed the process by making the fee payment. The portal has now been opened for the respective colleges for verification purposes."

After the verification of the applications, Delhi University will be releasing the final list of the candidates who will be appearing for the DU Exams 2022.  The centenary chance examination will be held in October this year and March next year. While the examination will be held in offline mode, the question papers are expected to be set based on the syllabus of the respective candidates' timeline.

"The data will be analysed to see which are the papers people have applied for. There might even be instances that for a same paper, the syllabus required is different as the two candidates are from different batches. We will make efforts to source as much of the syllabus as possible. If there is any obstacle in that regard, we will take a decision later," Rawat explained.
