DU JAT Exam 2021

Delhi University Joint Admission Test (DU JAT) 2021 is being conducted today by the National Testing Agency (NTA) today, September 27. DU JAT is conducted as a computer-based test (CBT). DUET is conducted in three slots within a day; considering the number of test-takers, NTA conducts the exam in two slots within a 2-hour duration. The 120-minute duration of the DU JAT 2021 is scheduled from 12:30 PM to 02:30 PM, i.e. second slot of DUET and 5 PM to 7 PM, i.e. third slot of DUET. To avoid complications caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Delhi University has increased the exam cities to 27 from 24 in the previous examination session.

DU JAT 2021 is conducted for admission into Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), Bachelor of Business Administration in Financial Investment Analysis and Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Business Economics. Get exam details for DU JAT 2021 here.

COVID-19 Safety Measures to Followed at DU JAT Test Centres

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, additional guidelines are to be followed to avoid the spread of the infection. Space below mentions the COVID-19 safety measures follows by NTA at the DU JAT exam centres.

  • Before the start of the exam, the seating area along with monitor, mouse, keyboard, webcam, etc. will be sanitised
  • The gap between two seats is increased to maintain the social distancing norms as set by the GoI
  • Hand sanitisers are available at the entry of the examination hall and at different places inside the exam centre
  • Body temperatures will be checked at the time of entry to the examination hall
  • Bar code readers will be used to verify the DU JAT admit card
  • Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre as per the reporting time mentioned on the admit card only
  • Candidates have to carry their personal sanitisers at the exam centres
  • All applicants must have a self-declaration form filled in beforehand
  • Candidates will be offered a fresh mask at the time of entry
  • Candidates need to sanitise their hands before pasting the photograph on the attendance sheet
  • Admit cards and rough sheets are to be dropped in a designated drop-box after displaying the same to the staff
  • Candidates’ will be frisked with a handheld metal detector, without establishing physical contact with the candidates
  • Social distancing norms will be maintained at the time of the exit as well

NTA is yet to announce the post-exam schedule for DU JAT 2021. Candidates can expect the release of DU JAT answer key 2021 in the first week of October. The facility to raise objections against the DU JAT answer keys will be available online. The DU JAT results will be released by the second week of October along with the final answer key.
