Delhi University (DU) has announced the results for 26 undergraduate (UG) and 18 postgraduate (PG) courses. The result can now be checked by the student by visiting the Samarth portal. While speaking on the same, the Dean of Examination, D S Rawat said that the results of 37,000 students have now been declared. An email regarding the grievance redressal process has also been now issued to over 65,000 students.
"We are in process of declaring results. We have declared the results of 37,000 students. This is the first time when teaching, examination and evaluation took place simultaneously and results were declared within 40 days of examination," Dean of Examination, Rawat said, as reported by NDTV.
The varsity has announced the results for courses like BCom (Hons), BA (Hons) Philosophy, Hindi, Political Science, BA (VOC) Human Resource Management and BSC (Hons) Home Science, Mathematics, and Statistics. The result has been announced for the DU Semester Exams 2022 that was conducted in May and June. It must be noted that the varsity had conducted the exam in the physical mode for the second and third-year UG students for the first time since the pandemic that had led to the closure of the varsity in March 2020. The university conducted Open Book Examination (OPE) during the first and second wave of pandemic.
Earlier, Delhi University released over 300 confidential results for all those students who need them on an urgent basis. Under this process, Delhi University, before officially announcing the results, gives the same to students who need them within a given time for further studies or job application processes.
