585 Allotted seats in 9 B.Tech, B.S Courses at IIT Patna

Reporting date of students taking admission in new session ( B.Tech/B.S) in IIT Patna November 4

The Indian Institute of Technology, Patna has announced dates commencement of classes for the new B.Tech and B.S batch. A total of 585 students have been allotted seats in nine undergraduate B. Tech/ BS programs this year.

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSSA) has released the final and sixth round of seat allotment for enrollment in IITs and other institutes. 585 students have been allocated seats in 9 undergraduate B. Tech/ BS programs this year at IIT Patna.

In IIT Patna, students from 22 states including Bihar have taken admission in which 111 from Uttar Pradesh, 95 from Bihar, 71 from Telangana, 49 from Rajasthan, 40 from Andhra Pradesh, 33 from Maharashtra, 27 from Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal 23 and 19 students from Delhi NCR have taken admission.

IIT Patna has also announced orientation date alongwith date of class starting for B.Tech courses. welcomes Undergraduate Freshers at IIT Patna.

The reporting date for the students allotted in IIT Patna by JoSAA 2022 has been kept on 4th November in the institute. There will be induction and oriental programs from November 5 to 10 and regular classes will start from November 11.

With an improvement of 358 ranks, the opening rank of students who took admission in IIT Patna this year is 1451, that of Computer Science Department, while the All India Rank of the first student who took admission in Computer Science last year was 1849.
