Along with the postponement of JEE Mains 2022, aspirants are also demanding the authorities increase the number of attempts. As of now, the engineering entrance exam will be conducted in two sessions.

With the #JEEStudentsWantJustice campaign JEE Mains 2022 students are leaving no stone unturned to make their demands heard. 300+ tweets have already been posted on Twitter with the trending hashtag. Students are urging Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and the National Testing Agency (NTA) to reschedule JEE Mains without any clash with board exams 2022. Along with the postponement of JEE Mains 2022, aspirants are also demanding the authorities increase the number of attempts. As of now, the engineering entrance exam will be conducted in two sessions - the first between April 21 and May 4, and the second session from May 24 to May 29.

All India JEE-NEET Students Association (AIJNSA) with an agenda of 'For Students, By Students', is supporting the #JEEStudentsWantJustice campaign. In a tweet posted recently by AIJNSA President Himanshu Borah, he wrote, "If students are not given proper time to prepare, how will they be able to perform in such a vital exam. It is a dire need to postpone the Exam& to give a proper gap. As authorities are continuously ignoring us, a SYMBOLIC PROTEST is the only option left. #JEEStudentsWantJustice."

The association has also posted several tweets raising the demands made by JEE Main aspirants. JEE students are urging the education minister and NTA to

  • Postpone JEE Mains 2022 by one and a half months 
  • JEE Mains exam after board exams 
  • Increase JEE Mains 2022 attempts
  • Sufficient gaps between the attempts 

Calling the demands made by the students genuine, the association said, "The problems of the students are genuine and these unprecedented times have put extra-ordinary strain on their mental coping mechanisms. Let us give them their dues without further stressing them out. Students Unity wins! #JEEStudentsWantJustice reached 200k. Keep going!"
