CEE Extends KEAM 2024 Answer Key Challenge Facility until June 15; Result by June 20
CEE has extended the window to submit the KEAM answer key challenges by two more days. The KEAM 2024 result will be out by June 20 at cee.kerala.gov.in. Check complete details here.
The KEAM answer key challenge window has been extended until June 15, 5 pm. Originally scheduled to close on June 13, the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) has granted a two-day extension. The KEAM 2024 exam took place from June 5 to June 10, marking the first instance of it being conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.
How to Challenge KEAM Answer Key 2024
Candidates can lodge objections regarding the answer keys by sending them to the CEE along with supporting documentation and a fee of INR 100 per question. Payment should be made via a Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram. Objections can be submitted either through postal mail or hand-delivered.
Should an objection be deemed valid, the fee paid for that particular question will be refunded. Any objections received after the specified deadline or without the requisite fee will not be entertained under any circumstances. Submissions via email or fax will not be considered. Furthermore, in the event of potential refunds, the bank account number, bank name and branch, and IFSC code must be provided.
KEAM 2024 Result Date
According to the official schedule released by CEE, the KEAM 2024 results are expected to be announced by June 20. This year marks the introduction of normalised scores for the KEAM engineering exam. Due to the exam being conducted across multiple sessions, CEE will standardise the scores, resulting in normalised scores with an Index Mark of 300. However, normalisation will not apply to pharmacy candidates as their exam was conducted in a single session.
After the release of the KEAM scores, candidates will have a designated period to submit their 10+2 scores. The final KEAM 2024 rank list will be compiled based on a combination of standardised 10+2 scores and KEAM 2024 scores. Only candidates who achieve a minimum normalised score of 10 in the KEAM entrance exam will be eligible to submit their 10+2 exam marks for consideration in determining their KEAM ranks.
CEE is set to publish the KEAM 2024 rank list by July 20. The KEAM engineering rank list will be formulated using a 50:50 weighting for 10+2 scores and KEAM normalised scores. Following the release of the rank list, CEE will proceed to allocate seats to candidates based on their KEAM ranks through the Centralised Allotment Process (CAP-2024).
