GATE 2025 Adding New Paper Combination Facility Closes Tomorrow

The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) announced on November 14, 2024, the expansion of the GATE 2025 two-paper combination list for all 30 subject papers. The last date to add/modify the GATE paper in the application form is November 20, 2024. Read below for more details-

IIT Roorkee has introduced new two-paper combinations for the GATE 2025 examination, which will be held on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. Including new paper combinations will allow the candidate to enhance their flexibility and broaden their choices. Registered candidates can submit their GATE paper choices by November 20, 2024. 

The new paper combination is an addition to the two-paper combinations available during the regular and extended application windows. Registered candidates who had taken only one paper earlier can now add a paper from the whole new list. This is available at a regular fee with no penalty. 

Candidates who have already selected two papers can change their second paper. Those who want to add a second paper from the existing two-paper combinations can also do so by paying regular fees with a penalty. 

How to Add Paper to the GATE 2025 Application Form?

The steps to add a new or change the paper in the GATE application form are as follows -

• Visit the GATE’s official website - gate2025.iitr.ac.in
• Log in using credentials - GATE 2025 enrollment ID and password 
• To add a paper, candidates must select the “Add a Paper” option available in the application window. 
• To change a paper, candidates can go to the edit option in the application form and make the required changes. 
• Pay the required fees and submit the GATE 2025 application form.
