GATE 2025 on February 1, 2, 15, 16; IIT Roorkee Expected To Start Registration in August

GATE 2025: This time, IIT Roorkee will be conducting GATE on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. The exam will be held as a computer-based test (CBT) for a total of 30 test papers. Check details here

GATE 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee will conduct the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 on February 1, 2, 15 and 16. As per the notice released, GATE will be held in two sessions: forenoon and afternoon, on each of these days in computer-based test (CBT) for a total of 30 test papers.

The GATE 2024 papers will be available in English only. Candidates can choose to appear for one or two GATE papers from the permitted two-paper combinations. The GATE score secured by the candidates will be valid for three years from the date of the announcement of result.

GATE 2025 Registration Date

As of now, only GATE 2025 exam dates have been announced. However, it is expected that GATE registration will commence from the last week of August 2024. Candidates can get the GATE 2025 application link on the official website: gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The complete GATE schedule is expected to be released soon.

GATE qualifiers can get admission to Master's and Doctoral programs in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts, and Humanities at institutions supported by the Ministry of Education (MoE) and other government agencies. 

Additionally, some colleges and institutions use GATE scores for admission to postgraduate programs without MoE scholarships. Many Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and other reputed organizations also consider GATE scores for their recruitment processes.
