The GATE 2025 application form will now start on August 28, 2024. The GOAPS portal (gate2025.iitr.ac.in) for GATE 2025 registrations will be active from August 28, 2024, to September 26, 2024. IIT Roorkee has postponed the exam application dates and released the revised dates on the official website. However, other dates still need to be revised.
The GOAPS portal will accept online application forms. The last date to submit the GATE application form is September 26, 2024 (without late fees) or October 7, 2024 (with a late registration fee of INR 500). The GATE 2025 exam is scheduled to take place on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.
GATE 2025 Application Form Process: Know How to Apply
The GATE registrations 2025 will take place online, and the steps to fill out the application form are as follows-
- Visit the official website - gate2025.iitr.ac.in
- Click on the application form link and click on “New Candidate Registration.”
- Enter the required details and complete the registration process.
- After successful registration, a new enrollment ID will be generated.
- Create a unique password and log in using the credentials to complete the application form.
- Fill out your personal, educational, and communication details
- Upload the documents as per the specifications
- Recheck all the information submitted and pay the application fee
- Confirm the declaration and submit the GATE application form.
Candidates are advised to keep a copy of the GATE application form and payment receipt.

The GATE application form fee must be submitted online while submitting the exam form. The accepted payment mode includes credit/debit card/netbanking/UPI/E-wallet. The GATE 2025 application fee is as follows -

Candidates must keep the following documents ready before filling out the application form for GATE 2025 -
