IISc Starts Admission To MTech Programmes in EECS and Allied Areas Without GATE Score
IISc MTech Admission 2024: IISc has started the online application portal for MTech programmes in EECS and Allied areas from CFTI. Those who have secured CGPA ≥ 8.0 will be given admission directly to M.Tech programme. Check details here
IISc MTech Admission 2024: The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore has opened the application portal for admission to MTech programmes in EECS and Allied Areas without GATE score. It has been stated on the official website that, IISc will be admitting candidates from CFTI (Graduates with a minimum duration of 4 years with specialisation as mentioned for each participating M.Tech discipline) with CGPA ≥ 8.0 directly to M.Tech from the academic year (AY) 2024-25.
The selection to the IISc MTech programme will be based on Career Analysis Marks (CAM) and performance in the interview. They can submit only one application form per programme. There is no restriction in applying for more than one IISc MTech programme. However, they can apply to a maximum of 3 disciplines from the MTech programmes.

How to Register for IISc MTech Programmes offered through CFTI Mode?
Candidates can check below the steps to know how to apply for MTech programmes at IISc here:
Step 1: Go to the official website: admissions.iisc.ac.in, and click on the PG course programme or PG research programme
Step 2: Register on the admissions portal by entering name, date of birth and email address
Step 3: After registration, candidates will get an email from noreply.admission@auto.iisc.ac.in with a link to confirm email address
Step 4: After clicking on link, registration will be active
Step 5: Log into the portal to submit application
Step 6: Make sure the email client does not flag emails from the @iisc.ac.in and @auto.iisc.ac.in domains as junk/spam
