IIT BHU Gears Up for Annual Fest 'Kashiyatra' from January 19 to 21

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), BHU is all set to host the 41st edition of its annual socio-cultural festival, 'Kashiyatra-2024,' spanning from January 19 to 21. The three-day fest will encompass over 60 programmes, drawing participation from approximately 12,000 students representing around 350 colleges nationwide.

Kashiyatra, the annual socio-cultural celebration of IIT (BHU) Varanasi, unfolds as a captivating three-day fiesta, featuring mesmerizing literary, musical, and artistic events. As the largest cultural festival in northern India, it is hosted by IIT (BHU) situated within Asia's biggest residential university, BHU, in the sacred city of Varanasi.

Events at IIT BHU Kashiyatra 

The event will showcase a variety of competitions, including Abhinay (dramatic competition), Bandish (Indian music competition), Crosswindz (rock music competition), Enquizta (quiz competition), Mirage (fashion competition), Nataraja (dance competition), Tulika (art competition), and Samvad.

Along with the above-mentioned competitions, the event will feature EDM Nights, Fusion Fiesta, and Bollywood Nights. The announcement of competition winners is scheduled for the third day. Kashi Yatra-24 will kick off at Swatantrata Bhawan, featuring performances by flute maestro Pandit Ronu Majumdar and classical music singer Pandit Uday Bhavalkar. The grand finale is set for January 20, 2024.
