IIT Delhi Launches Executive Programme in VR and AR
The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) has introduced an Executive Programme in Virtual and Augmented Reality under its Continuing Education Programme (CEP). This six-month blended learning experience is designed to empower professionals with cutting-edge knowledge and hands-on skills, enabling them to lead innovation in the rapidly growing AR and VR sectors.
The programme is delivered through LIVE interactive sessions in a Direct-to-Device (D2D) format, incorporating industry-relevant case studies, simulations, projects, and assignments. Additionally, participants will experience a one-day exclusive campus immersion at IIT Delhi, offering firsthand exposure to the institution’s prestigious academic and research environment.
IIT Delhi Executive Programme in Virtual and Augmented Reality Curriculum
The curriculum features 10 specialized modules, encompassing AR-VR development, design principles, immersive experience creation, game development, and prototyping. Participants will gain practical expertise with industry-standard tools such as Unity, Unreal Engine, Adobe Photoshop, and After Effects. A capstone project will offer learners the opportunity to showcase their skills through real-world AR and VR development projects. Graduates of the programme will be well-equipped for in-demand roles such as AR/VR Designers, Game Designers, and Instructional Designers, armed with cutting-edge skills to drive the next generation of digital experiences.
