IIT Delhi Placement: Over 1,200 Job Offers Secured; Top Recruiters Include Google, Microsoft, and Goldman Sachs
Robust participation by leading companies drives international and domestic placements for IIT Delhi students. The placement season, which will continue until the end of the next semester.
IIT Delhi students have achieved over 1,200 job offers, including pre-placement offers (PPOs), with approximately 1,150 unique students selected during the ongoing placement season for the academic year 2024โ25. The season highlights the instituteโs strong collaboration with industry leaders, reaffirming its status as a hub of excellence.
Prominent recruiters offering double-digit positions include Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Oracle, American Express, Barclays, Qualcomm, Intel India, and Shiprocket. Companies like BCG, Meesho, PayU, BlueStone Jewellery & Lifestyle, and Deutsche India Pvt Ltd have also contributed significantly, underscoring the diversity of opportunities available to students.
This year, IIT Delhi students have also received 50+ international offers from over 15 prestigious global companies for roles in countries like Japan, the Netherlands, South Korea, Taiwan, UAE, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Prof. Naresh Varma Datla, Professor-in-Charge of the Office of Career Services (OCS), stated, โIIT Delhi had a strong start and is progressing exceptionally well. The placement season, which will continue until the end of the next semester, focuses on providing opportunities to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
