IIT Hyderabad SURE Internship: IIT Hyderabad has released the application for Summer Undergraduate Research Exposure (SURE) internship. Candidates can register for IIT Hyderabad SURE internship at the official website by March 10, 2024. Know details here 

IIT Hyderabad SURE Internship: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Hyderabad, has started the application for its summer internship programme named: Undergraduate Research Exposure (SURE). Candidates can register fot IIT Hyderabad SURE internship at the official website by March 10, 2024. As per the information available, the internship by IIT Hyderabad can be availed by 200 interns. 

Also, 50 seats are reserved exclusively for girls. The SURE internship will be held between May and July for a minimum of one month and a maximum of two months’ duration. IIT Hyderabad SURE internship aims to offer a comprehensive research experience to eligible candidates, fostering innovation and academic excellence. 

Who are eligible for IIT Hyderabad SURE Internship? 

Candidates must note that only non-IIT Hyderabad students who meets the below-mentioned eligibility requirements can apply for SURE internship: 

• They must be a first year MSc (Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Biology), or an MA first year or second or third year BTech or BDes (all branches), or a third or fourth year integrated BTech/ MTech programme
• Also, they should be among the top 20 percent based on CGPA or percent score in all the previous years in their respective stream in the college. This has to be certified by the Head of the Institute/Principal at the time of the application
• The applicant should be a full-time or regular student at the time of application and till the completion of the internship
• They should be able to work full time (minimum one month) for the internship
• While hostel accommodation for the interns will be provided in IITH student hostels, the mess charges will have to be borne by the interns

How will students selected for IIT Hyderabad SURE Internship? 

The selection procedure includes of a preliminary screening of applications followed by an interview (online mode) department/mentor faculty wise at the option of the concerned department. The list of the students shortlisted is expected to be announced on April 15, 2024. 

All the selected students will get Rs 15,000 for two months’ internship, while it is Rs 7,500 per month per intern and Rs 10,000 for interns choosing to do the internship for one-and-a-half month. They can choose one option: one month duration, one and a half month duration, or complete two months duration. No other amount/benefit shall be applicable.
