IIT (ISM) Dhanbad offers executive MTech in geomatics, apply now

Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad is going to launch executive MTech online course in geomatics from the 2023-24 monsoon semester. Interested candidates can submit online applications from May 1, 2023, till May 31, 2023. The total seat intake is 50. 

The aim of the programme is to train the students in high level of knowledge enabling them to tackle real life problems in industrial fields as well as to excel in higher academics through research. IIT(ISM) offers admission to executive MTech for the working professionals from government organisations/industrial organisations/academic institutions. 

Eligibility criteria 

Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form.

• BTech in (mining/civil/CSE/IT/ESE/ECE/agriculture & farm engineering/geosciences/geoinformatics)/ MSc in geoinformatics/ MSc in remote sensing and GIS. 
• 60 per cent marks or 6.0 CGPA out of 10 point scale or equivalent marks. 
• Two years of industry experience. 

Candidates fulfilling all eligibility criteria will have to appear for an interview. All theory classes will be held in online mode, while practical classes will be held in offline mode. Candidates will have to pay an application fee of INR 2,000. The application fee needs to be paid through online payment gateway only along with the online application.
