IIT Jammu PhD Admissions 2022: The Indian Institute of Technology has commenced the admission application process for PhD programmes. Candidates interested in IIT Jammu PhD Admissions 2022 may apply online on the official website of the institute, i.e. iitjammu.ac.in. Applicants must note that the last date to apply for PhD programmes at IIT Jammu is May 26. No application will be accepted without the application fee. For general, gen-EWS, OBC-NCL candidates, the application fee is INR 300 whereas for, SC, ST, PwD candidates need to submit an application fee of INR 200 per department. Shortlisted candidates will be called for a written test or interview as a part of the selection process.

IIT Jammu PhD Admissions 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are advised to go through the eligibility criteria carefully before applying for the full-time PhD programme at IIT Jammu:

• Applicant must have a master’s degree in Engineering or Technology or a Master’s degree by Research in Engineering or Technology with a good academic record.
• Master’s degree in Science (with a good academic record) and a valid GATE score or DST-INSPIRE or CSIR-JRF or GPAT or NBHM or equivalent qualification in the relevant area tenable for the year of registration.
• Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology with an exceptional academic record and a valid GATE score in the eligible discipline may also apply.
• Exemption under schemes as agreed by the IIT Council for students of NITs, IITs, IIITs, IISERs, IISc may be acceptable.
