JAM 2023: IIT Patna invites applications for Spot Admission in M.Sc. Programme

Interested applicants should submit the online application for the Spot Admission to M.Sc. Programme at IIT Patna by July 31, 2023, till 5 pm.

IIT-Patna invited applications for SPOT ADMISSION in M.Sc. program (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics) from JAM 2023 applicants who have NOT paid the seat booking fee for any programme of any admitting institute but qualified JAM and declared eligible for admission with ALL India rank in JAM 2023 Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics papers.

Interested applicants should submit the online application between July 26, 2023, to July 31, 2023, by 5 pm through the following link - https://www.iitp.ac.in/msc_admission/msc_form/index.php.

The following documents need to be submitted in a single pdf file - X, XII-mark sheets and certificates, Qualifying degree mark sheets and certificates, Nationality certificate (Aadhaar card), Category certificate (OBC/EWS/SC/ST/PwD), Declaration for missing documents, and JAM score card 2023.

Applications received up to 05.00 PM, on July 31, 2023, will be considered for scrutiny. All applications will be scrutinized based on AIR, ERs, MEQs and submitted documents. Applications with missing documents without appropriate declarations will NOT be considered. Selected applicants will be sent an offer letter through e-mail. Application received through any other means shall not be accepted. 

The application fee is INR 1000 for UR/OBC/EWS categories and INR 500 for SC/ST/PD/Female categories. A list of applicants for spot admission will be prepared based on merit. For admission in Regular & Full-time category, physical presence at the institute is required on August 2, 2023.

Candidates have to report at Block IX, Room No. 502, IIT Patna on August 2, 2023, at 09:00 AM. Document verification and fee payment are also to be done on the same day. The opportunity would be provided to candidates on first-come first-serve basis in order of merit subject to availability of seat, compliance of admission criteria and GoI rules.
