JEE Advanced 2022 Exam Day Guidelines and Instructions

JEE Advanced 2022 exam will be held on August 28. The exam will be held in CBT mode and IIT Bombay is put in place some instructions and guidelines that must be followed on the day of the exam. What are they? Read below.
From dress code to reporting time, check what the JEE Advanced 2022 exam day guidelines and instructions are that every candidate must follow. JEE Advanced 2022 exam date is August 28. There will be 2 papers, paper 1 from 9 am to 12 noon and paper 2 from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
What to Carry With JEE Advanced Admit Card on the Exam Day?
On the exam day, candidates must make sure they have the following items with them without fail:
- JEE Advanced 2022 admit card
- Original photo identity card (any one of the following: Aadhaar Card, School/College/Institute ID, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, PAN Card, Notarized Certificate with photograph)
- Pens
- Pencils
- Drinking water in a transparent bottle
- Candidate may carry/wear a simple analogue watch
- Candidates must wear a mask and carry hand sanitiser (up to 50 ml in a transparent bottle)
What is Not Allowed in JEE Advanced 2022 Exam Centre?
Candidates must not carry any of the below items at the JEE Advanced exam centre:
- Smart/digital/programmable watches
- Mobile phones
- Bluetooth devices
- Earphones
- Microphones
- Pagers
- Health bands or any other electronic gadgets
- Any printed/blank/hand written paper
- Log tables
- Writing pads
- Scales
- Geometry/pencil-boxes
- Pouches
- Calculators
- Pen drives
- Electronic pens
- Wallets
- Handbags
- Goggles or similar items
JEE Advanced 2022 Dress Code
As per the instructions, the candidates must not wear any of these items at the JEE Advanced exam centre:
- Charm/taweez
- Items containing metals such as rings, bracelets, earrings, nose pins, chain/necklaces, pendant, badges, brooch, clothes with big buttons
- They are also advised to wear open footwear like chappals and sandals
JEE Advanced is a national-level engineering entrance test. Joint Entrance Examination β Advanced is conducted by any one of the 7 IITs namely IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, and IIT Roorkee or Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, under the aegis of the Joint Admission Board (JAB). The courses offered by the IITs via JEE Advanced 2022 are BTech, BS, BArch, BTech and MTech dual degree, BS and MS dual degree, Integrated MTech, and Integrated MSc.
