KEAM 2024 Date and Notification after March 20; Finalisation of Prospectus Underway

KEAM 2024 exam date and registration process is long-awaited. CEE usually start the KEAM registration by the second week of March and the exam dates are announced in February. As per the reports, CEE is in the process of finalising the KEAM prospectus as there have been some suggestions regarding changes in the KEAM reservation policy which has to be included in the prospectus. Thus, there is a delay in the release of KEAM notification, dates and prospectus and the same can be expected after March 20.

The final meeting of the KEAM committee preparing the prospectus will be held in the coming days. The prospectus will be finalized once the minutes of the committee meeting are approved by the government.

Also, it is expected that the KEAM 2024 CBT exam will be held after May 15, 2024. It is also expected that KEAM 2024 will be held over a week.

Changes in KEAM Reservation Policy 2024

The Director of Technical Education has requested the abolition of the floating reservation system, with the matter to be included in the KEAM prospectus. However, the government has the final say on the matter. In case the floating reservation is discontinued, it must be reflected in the KEAM prospectus. If there is no decision is taken in this regard by the end of this month, the KEAM prospectus will be released without further delay. Going forward, if any decision regarding the policy change is made, it can be included in the prospectus through an amendment order.

However, it is assumed that with general elections ahead, the floating reservation policy will continue and no changes will be made. The final verdict will be available with the KEAM prospectus 2024.
