NIELIT Calicut Admissions 2021: Application process for MTech courses ends tomorrow

Tomorrow (August 12) is the last date to apply for MTech programmes at the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), an autonomous body of Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology.

Candidates can submit applications at https://nielit.gov.in/calicut/content/mtech-programs latest by Ausgust 12, 2021. NIELIT Centres in India offer two courses at postgraduate level (MTech) – Electronics Design & Technology and Embedded Systems. The authority has released the NIELIT application form in online mode. Candidates who wish to apply can fill their application form until August 12, 2021. Before filling the application form, candidates must check their eligibility criteria as prescribed by the authority.  

Eligibility criteria 

  • Candidates should have passed BTech course or equivalent from an institution approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).  
  • Candidates should have a minimum of 60 per cent aggregate marks in the engineering degree examination. For SC/ST candidates, a pass in the engineering degree course is sufficient. For SEBC/PWD candidates, a minimum of 54 per cent (aggregate) marks in the engineering degree examination is mandatory.  
  • Admission shall be restricted to those candidates who have a valid GATE score.

Quick steps for online registration 

STEP 1: First register yourself. 

STEP 2: Submit details such as personal information, educational qualifications, upload photo, signature and documents 

STEP 3: Pay application fee online.  

In case, a candidate is not able to submit fee by closing date and time, or the application is otherwise incomplete, his/her candidature will be rejected. Applicants are required to make sure that application status on application form is ‘application submission completed successfully, payment completed’, otherwise application will be treated as incomplete and rejected.
