IIT Bombay: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay will inaugurate its new Research Park Building on February 20, 2024. This landmark event will be graced by the virtual presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, highlighting the national importance of this initiative. The exact schedule for the inauguration ceremony remains to be finalized, highlighting the anticipation surrounding the event. 

Adding to the significance of the occasion, Prof. Subhasis Chaudhuri, the Director of IIT Bombay will ensure that the institute's leadership is fully represented. He has extended a warm invitation for the inauguration of the new Research Park building. The venue for this significant occasion is the Research Park Building, located within the IIT Bombay campus in Powai, Mumbai. 

IIT Bombay Convocation Attended by PM Modi

Not only the inauguration but Prime Minister Narendra Modi in August 2018 addressed the 56th convocation of the IIT Bombay. He said that due to the continuous effort of the past 6 decades, IIT Bombay has made its place in the country's selective institutions of eminence. "IITs have built Brand India globally. IIT students are at the forefront of some of the best startups in India", added PM Modi.
