Second Edition of IInvenTiv-2024 R&D Innovation Fair Inaugurated at IIT Hyderabad by Union Education Minister

It will unite 53 future focussed institutes to showcase of 120 groundbreaking projects to over 2000 industry stakeholders

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan inaugurated the second edition of the Ministry of Education's flagship R&D Innovation Fair, IInvenTiv-2024. The event serves as a platform to showcase groundbreaking research and innovation from top Higher Education Institutes across India.

IInvenTiv-2024 aims to present the holistic impact of research and innovation carried out by the top Higher Education Institutes in India. Dr. B.V.R. Mohan Reddy, Chairman of BoG, IIT Hyderabad, and Prof. B.S. Murty, Director, IIT Hyderabad, welcomed industry and academia representatives, setting the stage for insightful discussions and paving the way for collaborative endeavors.

IInvenTiv-2024, with its focus on five pivotal domains including Affordable Healthcare, Agriculture & Food Processing, Sustainable Technologies, Defense and Space, and Industry 4.0, aims to foster innovation and collaboration. The event features 120 groundbreaking projects from 53 esteemed institutes, showcasing advancements ranging from Orthopaedic Implants to Lean Burn micro-gas turbine engines.

The fair also includes five panel discussions moderated by distinguished figures in each domain, aiming to cultivate insights, facilitate knowledge exchange, and ignite collaborative dialogues among industry experts, academics, and innovators.

IInvenTiv-2024 will unite top institutes, industries, and stakeholders in a collaborative showcase of transformative projects. The event underscores the commitment of IIT Hyderabad to promoting innovation and aligns with the nation's vision for self-reliance and development.
