SRMJEEE 2024 Application Form Will Release on November 10: SRMIST Infodesk

According to the admission infodesk of SRM Institute of Science and Technology, SRMJEEE 2024 application form will be starting on November 10. The infodesk confirmed the date on call and further informed that the SRMJEEE dates will be announced in due course.

SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) will be conducting the SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE), a national-level admission test for admission to BTech programmes offered by SRMIST campuses. The exam is conducted in multiple phases and last year, it was held in three phases. It is expected that SRMJEEE 2024 will also be held in April, May and June.

SRMJEEE is the only basis for admission to BTech courses and SRMIST campuses for candidates who have passed or are appearing in 10+2. SRMJEEE acts as a common entrance examination for all SRM Group institutes and universities located at Chennai (Kattankulathur, Vadapalani, Ramapuram, Tiruchirappalli); Delhi NCR Campus at Ghaziabad (UP), SRM University - Sonepat, Haryana; and SRM University, AP - Andhra Pradesh.

The entrance exam is based on the syllabus of 10+2 and consists of multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology, Aptitude, and English. In the previous year, the entrance exam was conducted remotely, allowing candidates to take it from their homes. However, the details for this year's exam will be communicated on the website shortly.

How to Apply for SRMJEEE 2024?

SRMIST releases the SRMJEEE application form online on the official website only, srmist.edu.in. To apply, candidates have to register themselves, verify their email ID, fill out the online application form, upload the required documents, and lastly, pay the application fee.

To be eligible for SRMJEEE, candidates must have a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science/Information Technology/Informatics Practices/Engineering Graphics. Aspirants who are Indian residents or non-residents, or holders of PIO or OCI cards issued by the Government of India are eligible for SRMJEEE. Additionally, candidates must have attained the age of 16 years and 6 months by July 31 of the calendar year in which they are taking the 12th Board examination.
