Fake notice circulates about NEET PG 2022 postponement

Press Information Bureau (PIB) has clarified that the notice circulating about NEET PG 2022 postponement is fake.

Aspirants must note that the notice claiming that NEET PG 2022 got postponed is absolutely fake, as confirmed by Press Information Bureau (PIB).

After NEET PG Counselling 2021 got unprecedently delayed, there is concern among the NEET PG 2022 aspirants that it can also be delayed. A notice was being circulated stating that the NEET PG 2022 that is scheduled to be held on March 12 has been postponed as per the directives received from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Govt of India. However, it turned out to be fake news as the circular has been debunked by the Press Information Bureau (PIB), which is the government's fact check agency.

PIB tweet says, "A public notice purportedly issued by the National Board of Examinations claims that the NEET-PG 2022 examination scheduled to be held on 12th March 2022 has been postponed. #PIBFactCheck This claim is #Fake.No such order/notice has been issued by the board."

NEET PG 2022 will be conducted online at the designated centres across the country for admission into 19,953 MD (Doctor of Medicine) seats, 10,821 MS (Master of Surgery) seats, and 1,979 PG Diploma seats offered by various medical colleges in India. Once the application form for NEET-PG 2022 is released on the official website of the National Board of Examinations (NBE), the aspirants need to fill the form to give the examination. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying and they must know that no other examination other than NEET-PG is valid for admission to these courses.
