CUET 2025 changes will be implemented for undergraduate and postgraduate courses and the draft proposal detailing the revised guidelines for CUET UG and CUET PG for session 2025.
CUET UG and CUET PG are likely to see major changes from session 2025 onwards as per the review by an expert panel. As per the media reports, UGC Chairman Jagadesh Kumar has affirmed that an expert committee has been constituted to review the conduction of the CUET UG and PG examinations.
Reportedly, the UGC Chairman has highlighted the need for improvement in the examination process to offer a better and more efficient conduction environment for the students taking CUET PG and UG examinations. He further added that an expert committee will revise the conduction of CUET UG and PG examinations, which will continue from the 2025 session onwards.
CUET 2025: Expected Changes
Kumar mentioned that the review committee aims to offer a smooth experience to the students taking the examination. The committee has already submitted its recommendations and the revised CUET 2025 guidelines for undergraduate and postgraduate examination will be released shortly. The guidelines will be released in the form of a draft; inviting feedback from students parents, teachers, and institutions. He further said that CUET UG has faced several challenges including technical glitches, logistical challenges and others. The committee aim to cater all the key areas for the betterment of the examination.
Meanwhile, he also highlighted that the committee has scrutinised various parts of the test, such as its structure, number of papers, duration of test papers, syllabus alignment and operational logistics and the necessary changes will be communicated to the stakeholders shortly.
The exam was conducted in hybrid mode in 2024; later on got cancelled across Delhi a night before the scheduled date owing to logistical reasons.
