The four-members panel was appointed by Yogesh Singh, Vice-Chancellor, Delhi University, to look after the admission process. A seven-member panel has also been created to look into the admission process for foreign nationals in the university for 2022-23.

DU Admissions 2022: Delhi University has announced that it has created a four-member panel to look into the process related to the admissions for the academic session 2022-23. It must be noted that from this year the varsity will adopt the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) for its admission process. 

The four-members panel was appointed by Yogesh Singh, Vice-Chancellor, Delhi University. The panel includes: Professors Haneet Gandhi, Dean (Admissions); Sanjeev Singh, Joint Dean (Admissions); Dr Ajay Jaiswal, Joint Dean (Admissions) and Dr Amit Pundir, Deputy Dean (Admissions) will be looking after the admission process for 2022-23, as per the official notification released by DU. 

It must be noted that a seven-member panel has also been created to look into the admission process for foreign nationals in the university for 2022-23.  Until now, the DU admissions for undergraduate courses were conducted on the basis of cut-offs and merit lists. While for a few Undergraduate courses and all the postgraduate courses, the admissions were done through entrance exams.With an aim to make the admission process equal for all the students, Delhi University will be adopting CUCET from this year. 

Earlier, the varsity had announced that the academic council meeting will be conducting a meeting on Feb 9, 2022, to discuss the implementation of the new undergraduate courses' framework based on NEP 2020. On January 21, DU released a draft Undergraduate Curriculum Framework 2022 (UCF 2022) in the public domain to seek feedback from stakeholders till Jan 30, 2022.  Based on NEP 2020, UCF 2022 pushes for the implementation of a four-year undergraduate programme, as compared to the usual three-year programme.
