The University has also announced that the OBE format exams will also be held for the essential repeaters of the 1st, 3rd and 5th semester and the ex-students of all the undergraduate and postgraduate students. 

Delhi University has decided to conduct the third, fifth and seventh-semester exams for the undergraduate and postgraduate courses from November 30, 2021. The Delhi University will be conducting the exam in open-book format. The University has also announced that the OBE format exams will also be held for the essential repeaters of the 1st, 3rd and 5th semester and the ex-students of all the undergraduate and postgraduate students. 

As per the official notification, "the exams for the students of 3rd, 5th, 7th-semester along with essential repeaters of 1st, 3rd and 5th semester and ex-students of all UG and PG programmes including the exams for students registered with the School of Open Learning and Non- Collegiate Women Education Board will begin from November 30th, 2021."

The Delhi University will be conducting the exam in two sessions including on Sunday for a duration of three hours in the Open Book Format. Delhi University will be releasing the semester exams final date sheet by November first week. While filling the examination form, students will be given an option to select the place they want to appear for the exam. 

Delhi University has also issued guidelines for conducting the internal assessment, practical, viva voce, projects, oral exams, apprenticeship, internship, and fieldwork for the 2021-22 academic session. Delhi University has to complete the process by December 14, 2021.  which needs to be completed by December 14, 2021.

For internal assessment, the University has directed all the affiliated colleges to conduct an internal assessment using IT tools and teachers should give the assignment to the students in the prescribed format through email or Google Classroom. Students are also required to submit the solved assignments to the teacher via email at the prescribed time.

Evaluation Scheme

The evaluation for the UG and PG dissertations will be conducted based on the written assignments. The university however added that under the present circumstances appropriate measures will be taken to facilitate the UG/ PG students pursuing project/ dissertation. Review-based projects or software-driven projects will be accepted by the faculty instead of lab-based experiments or field survey-based assignments of the students.
