IGNOU launches online MA in English, check details
The course will be offered by the School of Humanities under Indira Gandhi National Open University. The course will be offered in both January and July sessions. The registration for the same is now open at the official website of IGNOU.
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has launched Masters of English Online Programme abbreviated as MEGOL. The course was officially launched today in virtual mode. The online Masters of English is a 2-years PG level programme. The minimum eligibility required to take admission in this programme is to have a bachelor's degree or higher degree in relevant subjects from a recognized university. The course will be offered by the School of Humanities under Indira Gandhi National Open University. The course will be offered in both January and July session. The registration for the same is now open at the official website of IGNOU.
Earlier, IGNOU had launched the online MA course in Journalism and Mass Communication. The course was launched in the august presence of Professor Nageshwar Rao, Vice-Chancellor, IGNOU and other eminent media academicians. During his inaugural address, he said, "the quality of journalism education from IGNOU has provided equal opportunities for national and international students. MAJMC Online programme is futuristic and encompasses all the core areas of journalism and mass communication. Apart from English, University will launch MAJMC in regional languages such as Hindi and other languages."
t must be noted that the two-year online MA programme in Journalism and Mass Communication will be offered by the School of Journalism and New Media Studies, IGNOU. The course aims to provide a comprehensive exposure to various aspects related to Journalism and Mass Communication to equip you with necessary knowledge, skills, attitudes and competencies. The programme aims to develop skilled human resources in media and communication with a holistic appreciation of media as a tool for change and development, the release mentioned.
