JMI to hold Centenary Year Convocation on July 23

Jamia Millia Islamia has commenced the online registration to participate in the Convocation on July 5. Candidates must note that the last date to register on the portal is July 12, 2023. All students who have graduated in the Academic Years 2019 and 2020 are requested to register themselves by providing the requisite information on the given link http://events.jmi.ac.in.

JMI Convocation 2023: Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) will hold its Centenary Year Convocation on July 23, 2023. The convocation will be held for students who graduated in the Academic Years 2019 and 2020 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. Earlier, the varsity could not conduct the convocation ceremony in offline mode due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation in the country.  Now, JMI has decided to confer those degrees to their graduates of 2019 and 2020.

According to the official statement, Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar will grace the JMI Convocation Ceremony as the Chief Guest.

Professor Najma Akhtar (Padma Shri), Vice Chancellor, JMI said it is a matter of great pride that the university is holding Centenary Year Convocation. Due to Covid-19 pandemic, the university could not organize it. I congratulate all successful students who will be getting degrees and diplomas and I request all of them to register themselves to participate in the Convocation.
