Our dream is to bring JEE, NEET and CUET on a uniform platform: Education Minister
Minister said that Delhi University is a leading institution in implementing National Education Policy (NEP) 2020
Union Minister of Education has said that his government aims to bring examinations like Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and Common University Entrance Test (CUET) on a uniform platform.
Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was speaking on the occasion of the Centenary Celebration of Delhi University where he said that the University of Delhi (DU) has set a benchmark by implementing CUET. โIt is our dream to bring examinations like JEE, NEET and CUET on a uniform platform,โ Pradhan said.
Minister underlined that this university is not just an educational institution for the country, but it is an emotion, pride of India.
โDelhi University is entering its centenary year of establishment. In 2047, when the country is celebrating the centenary year of independence, the University of Delhi will be the best university in the world in the field of research,โ he said.
Pradhan said that the Delhi University will offer solutions to global problems, emerging as an incubator of the world. He said, โThe Delhi University is not just an educational institution, it is an emotion for people associated with it. He called upon DU Alumni to create a model for the country in alumni contribution.โ
Minister said that Delhi University is a leading institution in implementing National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. This university is implementing Multiple Entry- Multiple Exit.
The university administration held an inauguration ceremony for marking the year-long centenary celebrations of the university where Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu was the chief guest.
