UPSC result 2022 for the IAS prelims exam has been released online on June 222. UPSC IAS prelims exam was conducted on June 5 and the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the result in a record fifteen days' time. UPSC prelims result 2022 mentioned the roll numbers of the candidates only. The names of the candidates will be released later. This year, the number of candidates qualified for the UPSC IAS main exam are higher then the previous year because the number of vacancies is higher this year in comparison to last year.UPSC. Along with the Civil Service result, Indian Forest Services Preliminary exam result was also released.

The candidates can check the UPSC IAS 2022 prelims result in the manner given below:
- Go to the official website - upsc.gov.in
- Go to the What's New Section & click on the UPSC Civil Service (IAS) exam result link appearing on screen
- On clicking above, the "Result: Civil Services 2022" link will appear
- Click on the link as appear above, The UPSC IAS 2022 Result will appear on the screen
- Search the roll number in the UPSC Result pdf
- Download the UPSC IAS result 2022 pdf for future reference.

UPSC released the roll number of qualified candidates in the Civil Service Result PDF. The qualified candidates will now be called for the IAS main exam which is scheduled to be conducted on September 16. The Detailed Application Form (DAF-I) will be available online very soon to the qualified candidates. The last date to submit the DAF-I will be mentioned separately by UPSC.
IAS Prelims 2022 Cutoff
It is expected that the IAS cutoff for the prelims exam will be low because the paper was moderate to difficult and the answer options of some of the History questions were changed altogether. The second reason for the low cutoff will the higher number of vacancies in the Civil Service exam 2022.
