IGNOU PhD Admission 2021: NTA releases fresh IGNOU PhD Entrance Exam date

NTA is conducting the IGNOU PhD Admissions 2021 registrations online and candidates can apply online via the official website of IGNOU i.e. ignou.ac.in.

IGNOU PhD Admission 2021: National Testing Agency (NTA) has concluded the registration process for IGNOU PhD Entrance Exam 2021. Candidates seeking admission to Doctorate level courses offered by the Indira Gandhi National Option University were required to register for IGNOU PhD Entrance Exam 2021. The last date to complete the registration process for IGNOU PhD Admission 2021 was January 14, 2022. Earlier, the last date to register was January 8, 2022.  NTA conducted the IGNOU PhD Admissions 2021 registrations online and candidates can apply online via the official website of IGNOU i.e. ignou.ac.in. Candidates registered for IGNOU PhD Admission 2021 must note that no applications will be accepted without the online application fee (1000 INR for General (UR)/ OBC-(NCL)/ General-EWS category candidates; 800 INR for SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender candidates). Now, the NTA has rescheduled the IGNOU PhD entrance exam. “National Testing Agency (NTA) will now be conducting IGNOU Ph.D. 2021 Entrance Examination on 24 February 2022,” an NTA statement said.

IGNOU PhD Admissions 2021 Important Dates

With the commencement of IGNOU PhD Admission 2021 registration online, NTA also released details regarding the important dates and timelines for the admission process. According to the brochure released by NTA; the application process for IGNOU PhD Entrance Exam 2021 commenced on December 5 and will continue until January 14, 2022. IGNOU Phd Entrance Test 2021 Format & Duration

NTA has also released details regarding IGNOU PhD Entrance Test 2021 format and duration. According to the official IGNOU PhD Admission 2021 Information brochure released by NTA, the PhD entrance examination will be a LAN Based CBT (Computer Based Test). The duration of the entrance test will be 180 minutes i.e. 3 hours in which candidates will have to answer a total of 100 questions. Out of the total, 50% of questions will be on Research Methodology while the other 50% of questions will be on a Specific Subject.  In terms of the IGNOU Phd Entrance Test 2021 marking scheme, the question paper will have 100 questions of 4 marks each i.e. total of 400 marks. There is no negative marking for IGNOU PhD Entrance Exam 2021.

Step 7: Enter all necessary personal and academic details

Step 8: Enter qualification Details

Step 9: Upload required documents as per the specified format
