IIM Sambalpur witness 100% placement for 6th MBA batch; Highest CTC increased by 24.71%

The final placement process for IIM Sambalpur witnessed the participation of more than 100 recruiters, out of which around 50% were first-time participants.

IIM Sambalpur successfully concluded the final placement 2022 for the 6th MBA batch 2020-22, with 100% placement. According to the official placement report, IIM Sambalpur registered a 12.68% rise in average salary which has gone up at INR 12.64 LPA, and 10.33% rise in median salary which has gone up at INR 11.42 LPA with zero opt-outs. With more than 65% of the batch opting for firms in IT and BFSI which emerged as the most sought-after sectors, followed by Consulting and Manufacturing.

IIM Sambalpur Final Placements 2022: Key Highlights

• Highest CTC offered stood at INR 41 LPA international and INR 30 LPA domestic.
• Highest CTC secured stood at INR 26.19 LPA, an increase of 24.71% from last year.
• Average salary stood at INR12.64 LPA, an increase of 12.68% from last year.
• Median salary stood at INR 11.42 LPA, an increase of 10.33% from last year.
• Average CTC of the Top 25% batch increased from INR 14.91 LPA to INR 17.11 LPA.
• Major recruiting sectors were IT, BFSI, Consulting, and Manufacturing.

The final placement process for IIM Sambalpur witnessed the participation of more than 100 recruiters, out of which around 50% were first-time participants. Some of the prominent recruiters were Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance, Berger Paints, Amul, Vedanta, ICICI Bank, Amazon, Cognizant, Deloitte USI, HDFC Bank, EY, ZS Associate, Darashaw, Fareye, Aron Global, Accenture Technology, Infosys, TATA Motors, DHL, L&T, TechMahindra, ADP, VGuard, Capgemini, HCL Technologies, Byju's, IndiaMart, among many others.
