IIT Patna and AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy are all set to organise a faculty development programme on Deep Learning for Healthcare Management.

Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) Patna in collaboration with AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy is organising a faculty development programme (FDP) on Deep Learning for Healthcare Management from September 5, 2022, to September 16, 2022.

The ATAL Academy is to empower faculty to achieve goals of Higher Education such as equity, access and quality. 

The participants can be 30 to 50 Assistant Professors, Associate Professors, PhD scholars, and PG students from HEIs from the same city within 100 km of the host institute and they all need to register through the ATAL portal (https://atalacademy.aicte-india.org/login).

Registration Details

There are no registration charges to attend the program. Interested participants can register using the following link: https://atalacademy.aicte-india.org/signup

Step 1. One can register themselves with an email id

(sign up). If one has already registered, then log in.

Step 2. Click on Workshops FDPs.

Step 3. Search by state “Bihar” and Month “June” from

the above dropdown box.

Deep Learning for Healthcare Management Course Content

The course will cover the basic concepts of deep learning in healthcare. Various applications of biomedical signals in different fields such as cognitive assessment and brain-computer interfacing will be discussed. The application of biomedical signals in disease prognosis and diagnosis will be explained with results. 

The course includes technical discussion on basic signal processing techniques for signal de-noising, and time/ frequency domain analysis such as wavelet transformation. A session on the practical biomedical signal acquisition and software-based analysis will be conducted. Medical doctors/ practitioners from AIIMS Patna, PARAS hospital, and Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Science Patna are also invited to deliver a talk and share their experiences. Also, visit to AIIMS Patna and CDAC Patna will be arranged to see state-of-the-art healthcare technologies.
