IIT Patna invites business proposals latest by September 21

IIT Patna has invited business proposals from students, faculty, innovators and startups, the last date to submit the proposal is September 21.

IIT Patna has called for business plans for the 6th batch of startups. The Foundation for Innovators in Science and Technology (FIST), a NIDHI-TBI at IIT Patna has invited business proposals from students, faculty, innovators, and startups.

The official notification reads, "Admission now opens to 6th batch of incubation. Business plans received up to 21st Sept. 2022 will be considered for admissions in this batch"

Categories around which business proposals should be sent are agriculture, energy, water harvesting, manufacturing etc. The last date to send the proposals is September 21, 2022. Interested candidates can send duly filled business plans to the email id - info_tbi@iitp.ac.in.

Innovators/Companies selected for incubation will receive mentoring, infrastructure support, fully furnished office and communication facility, PCs, domain expert, access to ecosystem, Technology lab access, business support connect, access to FIST labs and consumable/ contingency support up to INR 3 lakhs. A seed fund of up to INR 10 lakhs will be arranged from funding agencies subject to terms and conditions, said the IIT Patna's notification.

A Project Evaluation Team, comprising eminent personalities from Industry, academia, government and the investment community, will evaluate the business plans. Shortlisted applicants will be called for online/offline presentations before an expert panel. Based on the recommendation from the panel, the applicant will be offered admission to the incubation programme based on the schedules made for evaluation and admissions from time to time.
