NIELIT 2025 application form for the ‘O’ level January cycle examination has been released. Direct and institute candidates can now fill out and submit the NIELIT 2025 O level application form by October 10, 2024. After the NIELIT 2025 application form last date, the authorities will not accept any registration requests. NIELIT 2025 application form for the A/B/C level courses for the January 2025 cycle is also open until October 10, 2024 (direct candidates) and October 17, 2024 (institute candidates).
Steps to register for NIELIT 2025 O/A/B/C level January 2025 exam
Candidates can follow the given steps to fill out the NIELIT 2025 application form for the O/A/B/C level exam.
- Go to student.nielit.gov.in
- Click on the application form link.
- Candidates will have to register using their basic information. After creating the password, the Login User ID will be sent to the candidate’s registered email address.
- Next, the candidates will have to fill out the application form with the required personal, academic and contact details.
- The scanned photograph, signature and left-hand thumb impression of the candidate has to be scanned and uploaded. All documents should be JPG/JPEG/GIF/PNG images with sizes up to 50 KB.
- Finally, the candidates will have to pay the NIELIT 2025 application fee online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. Candidates can also opt to use the CSC-SPV service to make the payment.

The authorities have not yet announced the NIELIT 2025 O/A/B/C level January examination dates. Both theory and practice examinations will be conducted for the registered candidates.
Q: Is it necessary to fill out the OEAF? Or is there any provision for a physical examination application for NIELIT?
Yes, it is compulsory to fill out the Online Examination Application Form (OEAF). There is no provision for offline or physical forms. Here to note is that the Physical Examination Application Form has been discontinued from the July 2013 Examination onwards.
Q: I lost all the information due to a power outage while filling out the application form. How do I restore it?
No, a candidate has to login again and fill out the online examination application form again. There is no provision for saving the information if, for any reason, a candidate is logged out. Before filling out a NIELIT application form, candidates should be ready with the following:
- A valid registration number
- Personal Email ID of the candidate, not of the institute, for validations and future correspondence.
- Personal mobile number of the candidate, not of the institute, for validations and future correspondence.
- Clearly scanned the latest passport-size photograph, signature, and LTI (Left Thumb Impression); all in jpeg format, size limited to 50 KB each.
Q: Can a candidate get the registration fee back if his or her NIELIT application is rejected?
The NIELIT registration fee is non-refundable. The one-time, non-refundable registration fee is neither refundable nor adjustable against any other payments or purposes. The registration process is mentioned in the guidelines mentioned on the Online Student Portal.
