JEE Mains mock test free online by NTA; direct link to practice and PDF download here

Candidates can practice the mock tests for free to become familiar with the online format of JEE Main 2022 exam and paper pattern. Solving the mock tests will also help students analyze their preparation level for the JEE Mains.

The NTA will soon be announcing the exam dates of JEE Main 2022 exam. The first session exam is likely to be held in March. With very little time left for the exam, candidates should analyze their exam preparation with the help of mock tests. NTA has released the JEE Mains mock test free online on the website nta.ac.in.

NTA Mock tests are available for practising online as well as in downloadable PDF format. Candidates can appear in the mock tests online from their PC/Laptop or download it as a PDF for practising as per their convenience.

The NTA also provides the facility of Test Practice Centres (TPC) in several cities to help candidates practice for mock tests who do not have a PC/Laptop. However, the TPC facility is currently not functioning due to the COVI-19 situation.

How to practice JEE Main mock tests released by NTA

Step 1: Open the website nta.ac.in/Quiz

Step 2: Select JEE Main exam and Paper from the drop-down menu.

Step 3: Click on the Login button to start the mock Test

Step 4: On clicking the login button, candidates will see instructions for taking the JEE Main mock test. Read all the instructions carefully and click on the Process button.

Step 5: On clicking on the ‘Proceed’ button, JEE Main mock test will start.

Candidates can also download the mock test papers of JEE Main from the official website of NTA. JEE Main mock test papers are available as PDF and will contain previous year papers as well as sample papers developed by the NTA. To download the papers, follow the below steps

Step 1: Open the website nta.ac.in/Downloads

Step 2: Click on Download Mock Test which will download the mock papers as ZIP files. Alternatively, students can select the year, exam (JEE Main) and paper to download mock test papers.

Step 3: Students can take print of the papers to solve or can practice directly on the computer.

Will JEE Mains 2022 be postponed due to COVID?

It is most likely that the first session exam will be held in March or later. Although the COVID-19 cases are slowly reducing and schools, colleges in many states have been reopened, competitive and entrance exams had still been postponed for the larger public interest. JEE Main 2022 exam dates are likely to be announced soon by the NTA.
