JPSC is slated to begin the online application process for the JPSC Combined Civil Services Examination on March 1, 2020. JPSC is holding this Combined Civil Services Examination to fill up 267 vacancies to a number of posts.

Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) released the official notification for Combined Civil Services Examination-2017, 2018 and 2019 on its authorised website. Interested and eligible candidates can go to the official website of JPSC – jpsc.gov.in — to check and download the JPSC Combined Civil Services Exam notification.

JPSC is slated to begin the online application process for the JPSC Combined Civil Services Examination on March 1, 2020. JPSC is holding this Combined Civil Services Examination to fill up 267 vacancies to a number of posts. Candidates can submit their JPSC application forms till March 30, 2020. The last date to make application fee payment is April 1, 2020.

Selection Process

Similar to many state public service commission and union public service commission, the selection process of JPSC consists of three stages  — Preliminary examination, Main Examination, and Interview. Preliminary examination will consist of two general studies papers. Candidates who crack JPSC Combined Civil Services Prelims will be eligible to appear for the main examination. Those clearing main examination will be called for the final interview round.

Eligibility

Applicants need to have a graduate degree from any recognised university. Candidates can read the JPSC Combined Civil Services notification. The eligibility for general category persons will be maximum 35 years of age. For scheduled caste (SC) and scheduled tribe (ST) male as well as female candidates, the maximum age limit will be 40 years. In the case of other backward caste candidates, the maximum age limit will be 37 while for female candidates of general as well as other backward caste candidates, the maximum age limit will be 38.
