The Bar Council of India has issued admit cards to all candidates registered for All India Bar Examination 2023 around 7:30 pm. Candidates can download their AIBE 2023 admit card by entering login details i.e. Registration Number and Password for their applicant account. If you are not able to download BCI XVII admit card 2023, then try after sometime as the official website is facing technical lags due to heavy traffic on server.

Instructions on AIBE XVII admit card
Some of the important instructions mentioned on AIBE 2023 admit card are:
Candidates are required to carry this admit card along with one Photo ID proof to their respective examination centre. Candidates without admit card shall not be allowed to enter the examination centre.
Candidates should report at their respective Examination Centre by 08:30 AM Candidates will not be allowed to enter the Examination Centre after 10:15 AM
Candidates are allowed to carry only BARE ACTS (without notes and comments) inside the examination centre.
Electronic or Communication devices of any kind (such as mobile phones, laptops, smart watch etc.) and Books or Notes (except BARE ACTS without notes and comments) are not allowed in the Examination Hall.
Candidates shall not be allowed to leave the examination hall before the conclusion of the examination and without handing over the Answer sheet.
All markings on the answer sheet must be with Blue/Black Ball Point Pen only. Using a pencil for marking on the answer sheet will lead to Disqualification of the exam.
Candidate should enter the roll number on the answer sheet as it is mentioned on the admit card and fill in the respective ovals. Any mismatch would lead to disqualification.
Candidate must follow the instruction strictly as mentioned on the test booklet cover.
Candidate should fill the Question Booklet Set Code and Roll Number and all other necessary information correctly on the answer sheet.
In case of more than 50% disability, 20 minutes extra time per hour will be allowed to the candidate. Kindly submit a certified copy of your disability certificate to the invigilator to avail the extra time.
In case of any disability, which prevents a candidate from writing the exam himself, then the scribe should preferably be a class 10th or 12th student (not from Humanities) and such scribe shall be required to carry school identity card, age and address proof viz Aadhar Card. No scribe shall be provided by the Examination Center.
The candidature to the examination is provisional. Only those candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria should appear in the exam. If at any stage it is found that you are not eligible for the All India Bar Examination, your candidature will be rejected.
Candidates found cheating/resorting to unfair means by the invigilators shall ordinarily be debarred from taking the exam.

A large number of candidates are facing technical issues in accessing the admit card, and now the exam authority has floated a message on the website stating, "Candidate who have paid the application fee can download their admit card for AIBE XVII.
Bare Acts without notes are allowed .In case of unavailability of Bare Acts without notes, Bare Acts with least short notes will be allowed subject to discretion of the Examiner/ Invigilator.

The website - allindiabarexamination.com is slow/ has delayed response. The candidates who have successfully downloaded the admit card informed that it took them more than 20 minutes to access it. Candidates are advised to try from a different browser and wait for the site to respond.

Can I carry my bag to the exam centre of AIBE 2023?
AIBE 2023 exam centre official may provide some space to keep personal belonging of candidates including phones and bags. However, they will not be allowed to take it inside the examination hall. Moreover, in case of any loss of such personal belongings, the exam centre officials may not be liable. Therefore, candidates must take care of their belonging themselves, if they want to carry it to the test centre.

No, candidates must carry the original card of any of the permitted National Identification Card as issued by a competent Authority under Government of India.

Can I show AIBE XVII admit card pdf on mobile phones at the test centre?
No, candidates must not download the admit card only on their mobile phones, as the exam authority will not consider it and bar such candidates from taking AIBE 2023. Candidates must download the admit card from the website, and get printouts (color) at least two copies to carry on the exam day.

When is the last date of downloading AIBE 2023 admit card?
Previously, when the admit card of AIBE 2023 was scheduled to be out on January 30, the exam authority has also mentioned last date of downloading admit card i.e. February 3, 2023. However, now as admit card was rescheduled and released on February 1, 2023, the exam authority has not mentioned any last date for donwloading admit cards.
Candidates can download AIBE XVII admit card till the day of examination too, however, as they will have to travel to their allotted test centre location, they are advised to download it before February 3, 2023. This way, candidates will be able to avoid last minute incoveniences.

What are the guidelines for PWD candidates?
BCI has not provided separate guidelines for PWD/ SAP candidates. In case any candidates wants to get facilities under these categories then they can write an email with their concern and send it to the exam authorities on the following:

Is the website for AIBE 2023 Admit card working now?
Majority of the candidates are able to login and download admit card from the website. However, there are still a large number of candidates who are either not able to access the admit card or it is not available even on login. Such candidates are writing their issue to the exam authority on the official email address. The admit card for those who have not uploaded enrollment ceritificate will not be issued, as the exam authority has informed candidates in previous notifications.
"Those students who got call ONLY may please Attach at the earliest ASAP, as from 2'nd February 2023 Admit Card will be issued. Those failing to do now, may face problems for Admit Card in future."

Is Bare Acts with Comments allowed?
As informed by the exam authority on the website, Candidates can carry Bare Acts without short notes, but in case of unavailability, candidates can carry Bare Acts with short/ minimum notes. The exam centre officials may allow such candidates with genuine reason. However, the candidates must ensure that non handwritten notes are mentioned on these Bare Acts. They also must not carry any other reference material, preparation notes, guides/ guess papers or books. Moreover, Printouts or Photocopies of Bare Acts with or without short notes will not be allowed for any candidate.

AIBE XVII will be held as per the exam pattern shared by BCI, which is as under:

- Exam duration - 3 hours and 30 minutes (10 am to 1:30 pm)

AIBE 2023 Admit Card Delayed!
AIBE XVII hall ticket was expected to be available after 5 pm today, but it has been delayed due to some technical reasons. The website shows message like ' The service is unavailable or 502, Bad Gateway'. We are trying to get latest information from the exam authorities as early as possible. However, no information on admit card or exam postponement is available. AIBE 2023 to be held on February 5, 2023 as per the schedule only.

What to do if AIBE 2023 admit card is having different Id?
BCI informs that the admit card mentioning a different ID can happen in following circumstances:
- Multiple registrations for AIBE 2023
- Payment for AIBE 2023 done with another application id, but searching admit card with an application Id, for which payment was incomplete. In this situation, admit card will not be issued to candidates for incomplete application form.
- In another scenario, the payment receipts may not be showing Payment ID (of razor pay). Therefore, AIBE officials cannot find the payment status.
The exam authority also stated, "We suggest you to kindly share all your mobile numbers with our helpdesk, which you think you could have tried to fill the application. Let us search your application id and send you."
