Dr DY Patil College of Law is all set to organise the first edition of the Constitutional Law Moot Court Competition between April 13 to April 15, 2023. The last date for registration is April 8, 2023. It will provide law students with a unique opportunity to hone their legal skills in constitutional law.

Dr DY Patil College of Law to conduct Constitutional Law Moot Court Competition

Dr DY Patil College of Law will conduct the first edition of the Constitutional Law Moot Court Competition between April 13 to April 15, 2023. The competition will offer a unique opportunity to law students to hone their legal skills and knowledge in the field of constitutional law.

As per Live Law, it will provide a platform for participants to engage in a simulated courtroom experience where they will get a chance to argue on hypothetical cases related to constitutional law.

Eligibility Requirement for Constitutional Law Moot Court Competition

The candidates must be duly enrolled and pursuing full-time 5 years or 3 years of undergraduate law courses can apply. Students enrolled and pursuing a postgraduate diploma or short-term certificate courses in law are not eligible to apply for the Constitutional Law Moot Court Competition.

For provisional registration, the candidates need to pay INR 4000. It does not include accommodation. There are cash prizes for the winners. The best team will get INR 35000, the second best team will get INR 25000, best speaker, best memo, and best researcher to get INR 10000 each.

How to register for Constitutional Law Moot Court Competition

Each college must provisionally register itself by sending an official registration mail to mootcourtassociation.dypcl@gmail.com with the subject 'NAME OF INSTITUTION PROVISIONAL REGISTRATION FOR DYPCL MOOT COURT COMPETITION 2023.

Once the provisional registration is confirmed, the team shall register for the competition by filing and uploading the required documents on the Google Form Link sent by mail. On confirmation, the team shall pay the registration fee.
