AIBE 17 result that was expected within few hours of final answer key, will now be released in the next week, tentatively on April 17, 2023. No update on result declaration has been shared by the Bar Council of India. 

Yes, if candidates have attempted those questions in the exam then the exam authority will award them marks. If not, then the candidates will not get marks for any non-attempted questions as per the marking scheme. 

Earlier, BCI would publish the list of qualified candidates with state bar council details. However, now BCI does not publish such a list owing to privacy concern. Only candidates who have appeared for the bar exam are able to know their qualifying status. However, if BCI withholds results of any test centre, then it will inform by releasing a list of all test centres with centre code, and the reason/ rectification to be done by candidate. 

There may be instances when AIBE 17 website may not work due to maintenace or server load on the site. BCI will not declare results of AIBE 17 without informing candidates on the website. If the website page is not loading properly, then candidates are requested to reload or clear cache from browser history. 

Yes, BCI will re-issue results to all candidates whose answer sheet rechecking process shows that they have qualified the bar exam. For obtaining COP, a PASS qualifying status is mandatory, therefore, it is the responsibility of BCI to provide the revised result.

Candidates can contact their state bar council with respect to enrollment expiry and re-enrollment. It will not affect AIBE 17 results in any way, even if their provisional enrollment is valid till April 30, 2023, and the results are declared before this date. Candidates who will qualify AIBE 17 will be automatically re-issued a new Identity Card for advocate on roll with the state bar councils after they obtain COP. 

Candidates will be allowed to get all their details corrected in the AIBE 17 results as under:

• Enrollment Number
• Parent's Name

BCI may delay the AIBE 17 result as it will be cross-checking all the answer sheets of all 1,71,402 candidates, which is two times the candidates that appeared in previous year. If the exam authority does not take due care in preparing AIBE 17 result, then there will be multiple discrepancies yet again. 

Generally, the results of AIBE are declared along with the revised answer key only. However, this time BCI has published the revised answer key but no information about AIBE 17 result is published yet. Therefore, a delay in result of AIBE 17 is expected this time. 

As per the marking scheme of AIBE 17, there is no negative marking in case of wrong attempts. The marking will be done out of 98 marks as under:

AIBE 17 result will mention following details that candidate must get corrected before applying Certificate of Practice: 

• Candidate’s name

• Roll number

• AIBE qualifying status

• Enrollment number as issued from SBC 

• Registration number

• Photograph and signature

• Signature of BCI authority

The Bar Council of India has stated that no results will be withheld owing to biometric issues or answer sheet set codes. However, if any candidate gets WITHHELD status, the first thing a candidate should do is get their answer sheet related corrections done properly. 

No, the exam authority does not provide answer sheet of candidates. They can only for answer sheets rechecking if they have result status as FAIL, and BCI will not accept any request for a copy of answer sheet in any form (snapshot, Xerox etc.)

In 2021, the bar council launched a mobile application AIBESCOPE so that candidates can obtain a digital copy of their COP until a hardcopy was provided to them.

Candidates can apply for COP from their state bar council, by filling an application form either from the official website or by obtaining in person from the official address of their respective state bar council.

In case, candidates find spelling errors/ misprint on AIBE 17 result, then they can get it corrected from the BCI helpdesk as under:

The exam authority has assured the candidates that, "If any candiate of AIBE 17 held of 05.02.2023 has missed out on biometric attendance they need not worry, so long as their verification was done in the classroom while giving the exam by way of taking their signatures.Their answer sheets will be taken into account and their results will be duly declared when result of the examination is declared."

The candidates will not be able to check their scores for AIBE 17, therefore, if they get FAIL remark, then they can apply for result rechecking process as under:

1. Through the result rechecking window (to be provided on the official website), candidates will be required to login using their credentials ( exam registratio number and date of birth)
2. Next, fill all the details such as language, set code, and qualifying status, and pay the answer sheet rechecking fee as applicable
3. Submit the form in online mode only, no need to send to BCI's official address

The exam authority will declare result rechecking status within 30 days of request.

Although, the AIBE 17 result login window will require AIBE roll number and date of birth as the password, and if candidates have forgotten these details then they will be able to obtain by emailing to BCI official ID - bci.helpdesk@cbtexams.in

The passing percentage for AIBE 17 will be determined once the results are out. The pass percentage for AIBE 17 is expected to between 70% to 90% as the exam was considered easier than previous sessions. Moreover, as the cutoff marks for AIBE 17 has been dropped by 2 marks, the state-wise pass percentage is expected to improve this year. 

The exam authority, BCI has not confirmed a date of AIBE 17 result declaration, however, it is expected to be out anytime now, tentatively by April 15, 2023. 

The exam authority has not declared the qualifying status of all those who took AIBE 17, however, the candidates can still know their qualifying status by cross-checking their answers attempted in the exam with the help of final answer key. 

Candidates need to score at least 38 marks out of 98 marks if they belong to General/OBC category, and 34 marks if they belong to SC/  ST / PWD category. 

As the exam authority will declare results for AIBE 17, the candidates will be provided a direct link to access their result at - https://allindiabarexamination.com/

Candidates will have to click on the result link available on the website, which will redirect them to the result login window. 

The result login window is yet to be activated on the official website, but expected anytime now.

After revision of AIBE 17 answer key, following changes have been made: 

• 2 Questions in AIBE 17 question was found incorrect, therefore, the exam authority has deleted the questions.
• 2 Answer/ Options in the answer keys were found incorrect, therefore the answers have been revised.

The final answer keys for AIBE 17 for all language papers have been released around 8 am on April 14, 2023. This is an indication that AIBE 17 results are in the final stage i.e. processing to be available on the website soon.
