The number of available seats for 5 years BA LLB (Hons) programme is 26, and for the LLM programme is 13 at NALSAR under the foreign nationals category. Interested candidates can send the filled-in form by June 1, 2023. Candidates possessing the citizenship of a foreign country shall only be considered for admission under this category.
NALSAR University of Law has announced seats under the foreign national category for five years of LLB and a one-year LLM programme. The number of seats available in this category for the LLM programme is 13, and for the LLB programme is 26.
Candidates appearing/appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for admission but they should submit their results of the qualifying examination on or before June 1, 2023. In case of ICCR / Govt. of India nominees, the result of the qualifying examination should be submitted on or before April 30, 2023.
"University reserves the right to convert the vacant seats of SAARC countries, Non-SAARC Countries and ICCR / Govt. of India Nominees between the said categories, if candidates are available. If sufficient candidates are not available under Foreign National Category, University shall invite applications till the closure of admissions and seats will be filled as per merit," reads the official notification.
Candidates possessing the citizenship of a foreign country shall only be considered for admission under this category, added NALSAR.
For the LLB programme, eligibility required is - the candidate should have passed an examination recognised by the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi as equivalent to the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) under the Indian System securing not less than 65% marks in the aggregate and should not be more than 25 years of age as on July 1, 2023.
Eligibility required for the LLM programme is the academic record of B.L. / LL.B. or equivalent Degree recognized by UGC / Association of Indian Universities with not less than 55% marks or equivalent grade; and by demonstration of English Language competency. The applicants are required to submit a certificate/statement from their previous institution of study which demonstrates that the previous instruction was substantially in the English language.
