NLU Delhi to launch 1st Doctoral Colloquium on Law & Contemporary Issues in India

NLUD is all set to launch the 1st Doctoral Colloquium on Law & Contemporary Issues in India between March 16 to March 18, 2023.

National Law University (NLU) Delhi has invited abstracts for the first Doctoral Colloquium on Law & Contemporary Issues in India to be held between March 16 to March 18, 2023. The abstracts and CV must be submitted by January 30 at nludphdcolloquium@nludelhi.ac.in with the subject “NLUDPHDCOLLOQUIUM2023 Submission - [your name]”. 

The official notification reads, "Please submit the following by email - abstract of the research paper or presentation to be presented at the colloquium (no more than 500 words), brief resume focussing on key research achievements to date (conference presentations, publications etc.). It must also state whether the student is a young scholar or a senior student."

"We aim to notify successful applicants by February 10, 2023. Participants presenting a full paper (session 1) will be required to provide a draft paper by March 1, 2023, to give the discussants time to prepare responses and comments. It is expected that the full papers (7000-8000) will be a part of ongoing research for doctoral studies. Those presenting a short paper (extended abstract - session 2) will be required to submit a 4000-5000 word write-up outlining the key arguments," added the notification.

More Details

The registration fee for the colloquium is INR 250. NLUD will not provide accommodation and travel expenses but will assist the candidates in identifying affordable accommodation near the NLUD campus if required. The university will provide all meals for three days, stated the official notification.
