The National Law University Delhi organised a two-day refresher course on Regulatory Impact Assessment for TRAI officials to build the capacity of TRAI officers and abreast them of emerging RIA regulatory concerns. The university has thanked the course faculty for the course.
The National Law University Delhi organised a two-day “Refresher Course for TRAI Officials" on the overarching theme of Regulatory Impact Assessment. The programme aimed to further strengthen the capacity among officers of TRAI to carry out a regulatory impact assessment, sensitise them to contemporary thoughts and developments in the field and prepare them to deal with emerging regulatory concerns that pertain to RIA.
"The Centre for Regulatory Studies at @NLUDofficial organised a two-day refresher course on Regulatory Impact Assessment for @TRAI officials. The purpose of the course was to build capacity of TRAI officers and abreast them with emerging RIA regulatory concerns," reads NLUD tweet.
"We wish to thank our distinguished course faculty for conducting this course. Our special thanks to course directors Dr. Abha Yadav, Assistant Professor, NLUD and Dr. Dakshina Chandra, Assistant Professor, NLUD," says the university's official statement.
Recently, the university also organised a Street Law Workshop. Prof David McQuoid-Mason, Centre for Socio-Legal Studies conducted the course.
"We wish to thank Professor David McQuoid Mason, Professor of Law, @UKZN, Durban for conducting a very informative and interactive workshop on Street Law for our students. We look forward to hosting Professor Mason again in the future," said NLUD tweet.
Prof David McQuoid-Mason is a Professor of Law based at the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban; and an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa; President of the Commonwealth Legal Education Association; Visiting Professor of Law, Strathclyde University, Glasgow, Scotland; Adjunct Professor of Law, Griffiths University, Brisbane, Australia.
