The Centre for Regulatory studies at National Law University Delhi (NLUD) is organizing a two- day “Refresher Course for TRAI Officials" on March 2 to March 3, 2023, on the university campus at Dwarka, New Delhi on the overarching theme of Regulatory Impact Assessment.
The programme aims to further strengthen the capacity among officers of TRAI to carry out a regulatory impact assessment, sensitise them to contemporary thoughts and developments in the field and prepare them to deal with emerging regulatory concerns that pertain to RIA.
The Centre for Regulatory Studies at NLUD has the mandate to develop regulations as a multi-disciplinary field of study that intertwines the disciplines of law, economics, management, accountancy and other behavioural sciences. It has commenced a few credit courses on regulations in general, regulatory architecture and governance and regulations relating to securities, competition and insolvency in LLB and LLM programmes. It has also commenced research into regulations through PhD programme.
IBA ICC Moot Court Competition from March 17 to March 19
NLUD in collaboration with Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies will conduct the 8th India National Rounds of the IBA International
Criminal Court Moot Court Competition 2023 in-person this time. The ICC Moot Court Competition is one of the most prestigious moots hosted and organized annually by the Grotius Centre for International
Legal Studies of Leiden University, The Hague Campus, with the institutional support of the International Criminal Court and International Bar Association. The competition will be held between March 17 to March 19, 2023.
