NLUO invites articles for Newsletter by December 25

Kautilya Society, NLUO has invited articles from law students for Society's newsletter, latest by December 25, 2022.

Kautilya Society at National Law University Orissa has invited articles from law students for Society's newsletter. Interested candidates can send articles by December 25, 2022, up to 11:59 pm.

NLUO's tweet reads, "Greetings! The Kautilya Society, NLUO, is pleased to invite contributions in the form of articles from law students to be published in the 2nd edition of the Society's newsletter."

The themes for the articles are analyzing the National Mental Health Policy of India, analyzing the Mental Healthcare Act, 2017, analyzing the evolution of mental health acts from the Mental Healthcare Act, 1987 to the Mental Healthcare Act, 2017, analyzing the federal laws (state legislations) of India on mental health, a comparative study of the mental health legislations of India with other countries, understanding the significance of International Conventions and Treaties on mental health, appreciating the best practices related to mental health across the world and imbibing them in India, tracing the intersection between the guidelines on mental illness in India and the WHO Guide on Stress Management, and simplifying the WHO Guide.

"The number of manuscripts that will be selected for publication shall be based on the discretion of the Editorial Board. Selected manuscripts will be published in the newsletter after thorough screening," said NLUO's official statement.

NLUO recently announced the opening of registration for the 10th National Law University Odisha Bose & Mitra & Co. International Maritime Arbitration Moot Court Competition 2023 to be held from March 23 to March 26, 2023.
