The candidates have applied for 136 courses that are being offered by the varsity. Out of the total candidates who have applied, 56,667 are females, the JMI registrar Nazim Hussain AI Jafri informed.

JMI Admissions 2022: Over 1 lakh applications received for 136 UG, PG courses

JMI Admissions 2022: Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has announced that it has received a total of 1,03,397 applications for the academic session 2022-23. The candidates have applied for 136 courses that are being offered by the varsity. Out of the total candidates who have applied, 56,667 are females, the JMI registrar Nazim Hussain AI Jafri informed. JMI registration 2022 process closed for all the undergraduate and postgraduate courses on May 25, 2022. Out of the 136 courses, 39 are undergraduate courses and 78 are postgraduate courses. 

The registration process also concluded for 17 postgraduate diploma courses and two advanced diploma courses. In April, the JMI had released the admission prospectus in online mode and the admission forms were made available for the candidates from April 14. JMI had also extended the last date for submission of online application forms for all the graduate and postgraduate courses from May 13 to May 25.

JMI Entrance Exam 2022 form correction facility was opened by the varsity on May 26, 2022. All those candidates who had submitted the application form and required to make any changes can do so by visiting the official website. The facility to make corrections in JMI Application Forms 2022 will end today; i.e. May 27, 2022. 

For the academic year 2022-23, the JMI entrance exam 2022 is scheduled to be held from June 11 to July 8, 2022. The exam will be held in the pen-paper mode for various undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and certification courses. It must be noted that the entrance exam is only for those courses that are not been covered under Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2022.
