Candidates can apply for admission to MBA/MMS courses in Maharashtra colleges through MAT score.
MAT score is now acceptable for admission to MBA/MMS courses offered by Maharashtra government institution or those affiliated to the same. The Higher and Technical Education Department of the state government recently released a notification informing validity of entrance exam scores other than MBA-CET for admission to MBA/MMS/PGDM courses offered by government institutions in the state. The MBA CET is conducted by Maharashtra State CET cell for admission to over 300 MBA colleges in Maharashtra. The admission is based on a common counselling process called the Centralised Admission Process of CAP. The CAP is conducted after the MAH MBA CET exam.
The MAH CET CAP 2022 is expected to be conducted between October and December. In this process candidates having MAT score can register for online counselling and seat allotment. Apart from MAT, candidates can also apply through CAT, CMAT, ATMA, XAT and ATMA. Candidates participating on the basis of these exam scores will have to pay the CAP registration fee whereas, MAH MBA CET qualifiers will not have to pay any fees.
MBA aspirants who wish to pursue MBA in 2022 can participate in the CAP by appearing for MAT in September. The MAT exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT), Paper Based Test (PBT) and Internet Based Test (IBT) modes.
Registration process for MAT is underway at AIMA MAT website. The last date to register of MAT PBT ( to be held on September 4) is August 29. The last date to register for MAT CBT (to be held on September 18) is September 12. The last date to apply for IBT (to be held on September 3, 10, 11 and 17) is September 13.
